Habinteg's action plan: A Model
Action plans Associations have a wide experience of using Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely (SMART) action planning within their business planning mechanisms.
Based around responses from our consultation exercise we suggest using the framework identified below:
Every association will have its own priorities based around the association’s own business objectives and the responses from disabled stakeholders. Using the framework will help ensure that associations can focus on the key areas that impact on disability equality within their organisation. The experience of other organisations indicates that the key driver of change is the requirement to get clear leadership commitment to disability equality.
